Who We Are
Edna P. Rivera
President - Registered Architect
Edna Rivera is a Florida Registered Architect and the President of EDGE Engineering LLC., where she directs, design and manages a wide range of projects including architectural, structural and MEP engineering for residential and commercial projects. After earning her Bachelor in Architecture from the Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in the Dominican Republic in 2007 and her Master’s in Sustainable Design in 2015 UNIBE, Edna moved to South Florida in 2016 where she worked effectively to have her Bachelor's recognized by NCARB and eventually getting her Florida RA license in 2024. Edna has over nine years working with Architects, interior designers and engineers as a consultant providing architecture and MEP consultation for residential projects in South Florida. In 2018, Guillermo & Edna worked together to provide engineering services to homeowners and starting contractors/developers providing cost efficient engineering services. Edna is fluent in English and Spanish.
Guillermo E. Villanueva
Vice-President - Professional Engineer
Guillermo Villanueva is a Florida Licensed Professional Engineer and the Vice-President of EDGE Engineering LLC., where he oversees and supervises civil, structural and MEP engineering for residential and commercial projects. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Florida International University (FIU) in 2022 and his Master’s of Engineering in Construction Engineering and Management from Texas A&M University in 2005 he worked as Project Engineer & Project Manager in several projects throughout the states of Texas, Florida and Indiana. By managing and coordinating public projects from 33M to 86M Guillermo gained the necessary experience to start managing and supervising EDGE Engineering’s different types of projects.

We provide plans in compliance with DERM 2.5 FOG per Miami-Dade County. Helping clients comply with DERM Fog requirements with several types of projects: bakeries, cookie shops, breweries, restaurants, kiosks, pasta manufacturers and others. If you have a project and not sure if you need a Fog system we can assist you.

Construction projects that require the work zone to be within the public right of way require MOT work. EDGE Engineering provides the MOT plans required to get the approval from local municipalities & FDOT.
